During the initial research and discovery phase we understood that some of the main goals of the new design was to prioritize search, and leverage the main categories on the landing experience. We also needed to create a seamless experience between departments that didn't have a cohesive experience for users when navigating the site.

One other unique feature of this site was the ability to act as an informational portal, differently from other government sites. We identified that users often came to the site to get informed about news, events and city services.

Alongside with the site design I also worked on the logo refinement for digital applications and a visual identity system that would unfold into several design pieces.
